More Gayness Coming To A Television Near You

True Blood

True Blood is so good to us. We would have been happy if all they gave to us were more naked shots of Ryan Kwanten and Sam Trammell, but they continue to take it to the next level. From a love interest for Lafayette to the inclusion of hottie Joe Manganiello, the third season is already shaping up to be pretty fantastic.

Didn't think it could get any better? You were wrong. Creator Alan Ball has stated that characters Sam Merlotte and Bill Compton will form an "erotic connection" in the upcoming episodes. This doesn't necessarily translate to hardcore butt sex, but it's one step forward in the right direction.

Bon Temps isn't the only town that'll be getting a little gayer. The United States of Tara will be getting three new gay characters, including a couple who lives next door to the Gregsons. Rumor has it that a US version of Torchwood will be making its way to the states. And if that weren't enough, Neil Patrick Harris may be appearing in an episode of Glee directed by Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog collaborator Joss Whedon! That last one may not be as boner-worthy as Sam and Bill doing it, but it's exciting in a totally different way…

  1. You do not know how excited you’ve made me!
True Blood and USOT in one post, Yay!
Considering Sam drank a TON of Bill’s blood in the season 2 finale, of course there’s going to be some attraction, just waiting to see how far Alan Ball is going to take it!
Nice to see more gayness getting screen time, especially on United States of Tara. Even though its the stereotypical gay couple, it should be interesting!

  2. Omfg at Bill/Sam. Hot sweaty sex at the back of his restaurant, already hard thinking about it.
Yay Glee, even bigger yay for Joss Whedon directing an episode! He can never do no wrong after Buffy. 🙂
