I've been seeing a lot of items around that state "New Miss California shares Prejean’s views", but it's kind of unfair to say that newly crowned beauty queen Tami Farrell is against gay marriage to the degree of her predecessor. While she personally opposes marriage equality, we probably won't see her rallying in defense of "opposite marriage".
In fact, she seems a lot more open-minded than Carrie Prejean. Within the same television interview that she announced her stance, she said, "I don't think I have the right or anybody has the right to tell somebody who they can or can't love." Precisely, because nobody should have that right. Let's just hope the government figures that out soon…

She’s still got it wrong but she’s intelligent and mature about it which counts for a lot…and on a superficial level, she’s a lot prettier than her braindead predecessor.
