On a purely physical level, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with Grey Damon. He’s this weird mesh of Kris Allen, Levi Johnston and ol’ school David Boreanaz. A potential heartthrob for the next generation of gays in training! Long story short? We’d totally hit it.
Now here comes the issue! Mr. Damon appears on a certain summer series known as The Nine Lives of Chloe King. It kicked off this past Tuesday on ABC Family, following promos that implied it’d be the new millennium’s answer to Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
As it turns out? The show was more akin to a Disney Channel original movie. I couldn’t help but cringe at the poorly delivered (and written) dialogue, plugging my ears every time the lead character squealed in delight or pretty much said anything.
In the end, the only redeeming factor was the hot piece of ass you see above. There’s this scene where he rolls up into the shop Chloe works at, throws on a knit kitten hat and asks with swoon-worthy charm, “Ironic or lame?” It was such a stupid-ass line, yet he was dreamy enough to make it work…
