I don't even need to see a single episode of Spartacus: Blood and Sand to know that I will be buying this show on DVD. The screen caps from the second episode alone are enough to entice me. Sweaty muscular bodies? Check. Outrageous bulges? Check. Total male nudity? Double check.
Is there any way that this isn't the gayest show on television? I mean, I know they're running around waving swords around at one another and doing "macho" shit, but it's basically gay porn without the sex. Or at least that's what it looks like. Did anyone actually watch this show? Because I'd love to hear more about it!

I emailed you about the show. The show itself is a cheap combo of the 300 and Gladiator. Butt it definitely shows signs of promise. We shall see..
I think I read somewhere, a while back, that they would actually show man/man sex….. because that goes with the period….
they r trying to be more real than that 300 movie…. so in a way this might be more of an ancient OZ than gay porn….
300 was a glorified historic story… not really aiming for realism when all your skies are styliezed out the wazoo 😛

I saw these scene online about a week ago and made the same conclusion as you, I may never watch the show but I will be buying the dvds. Make it blu-ray. That deserves to seen in hi-def!
I have watched it and will continue to watch it. Andy Whitfield is a god! The most traumatic thing I have seen thus far is Lucy Lawless’s breasts and that little worm from THE MUMMY movies banging her..ick
