Bill Clinton has come out in support of gay marriage! This is certainly one of the highest profile supporters in a long time and is a welcome change.
The Nation reports, "Asked if he personally supported same-sex marriage, Clinton replied, 'Yeah.' 'I personally support people doing what they want to do,'
Clinton said. 'I think it's wrong for someone to stop someone else from
doing that [same-sex marriage].'"
Okay, he didn't exactly come out with a marriage pom-pons but I'll take it! After all, Bill Clinton is the president who signed the Defense of Marriage Act and Don't Ask, Don't Tell so this is a huge reversal.

It’s sad to see someone so desperate to remain relevant on the world stage that he’ll take a principled position to get attention. As others have said, too bad he didn’t reach this epiphany when he could have actually done something about it.
