Sesame Street Defines Marriage

What does a kid named Jessie and Grover from Sesame Street have in common? They both are smarter Carrie Prejean. In the clip, notice how the kid defines marriage as between two people who love each other and not between a man and a woman.

If this is the future of America, then I have hope… but did anyone else notice how Grover kept on asking what married people do? They just kiss and hug, Grover. That's it… and have sex.

  1. And this is why I don’t feel icky having liked Sesame Street as a kid. They 1)Don’t talk down to kids, 2)Promote diversity and love over all else, and 3)Aren’t disturbed and stoner-fodder (Teletubbies, I’m looking at you -.- )

  2. Sometimes it just takes the simplicity of a child to make you realize how closed-minded people can be. This makes me love Sesame Street even more than I did when I was little.
“I guess that’s what marriage is about.”

  3. Yet when kids reach the age where they ask where babies come from and how they are made…they will be told that icky idea in health class of the mating rituals between a man and a woman, and not the traditional fertility clinic route for people who love each other.
