Actor Max Adler recently surprised the hell out of us and made Glee slightly more watchable than it has been during its sophomore slump. His character, meathead school bully Dave Karofsky, suddenly and shockingly laid a forceful kiss on his chief victim Kurt two episodes ago. Adler obviously isn’t the moron he plays on TV, and he’s taped an It Gets Better video. Unlike some of these famewhores jumping on the attach-yourselves-to-the-trendy-cause bandwagon, his taping one actually makes sense since his work has centered around the topic.
And to bring it back to shallow – Max is hot. Seriously. Kurt doesn’t do a thing for me, but the football jock going in for the illicit smooch – nice.

Kind of the whole point…..it doesn’t matter……if he is gay or straight or bisexual or questioning or unsure or uninteresting in figuring it out right now……..it doesn’t matter. It shouldn’t matter.
When/if Max Adler asks you to join him for dinner and a movie…..that would be a proper time to mention the subject of gender attraction.

I agree. He is definitely my type! Like Max’s character, I was bullied in high school by someone just like him, even though we both played football on the same team. I was the kicker, and he played first string defensive lineman, so he was at least 60 lbs and 6″ taller than me. A few years later, we ended up running into each other at a mutual friend’s party. Turns out, he is gay, and that was his way of compensating.
He is now an out and proud gay man, as am I

I follow “Timaya” on youtube and he did a vid on bullying and it was good, he talks about getting your kids involved in self defense/showing them how to fight. MH should post the vid.
He’s not gay in real life. He has a girlfriend and they’re very attractive together. He also interacts with his fans. He’s super sweet and I agree with him being totally hot. 😉

..but, knowing that a presumably-heterosexual jock had shoved his tongue down the throat of another dude would have shocked the hell from out of me, too.
´reminds me of that one episode of “my name is earl,” that centered around a coupla gay prison inmates.
I am certainly not one to disparage anyone who speaks up for this cause,, but I don’t know, it just seemed a little impersonal to me. He was clearly reading from a script and his emotion didn’t seem genuine. Don’t get me wrong, I am not implying that he didn’t mean what he said (read), but I personally find the videos better when they aren’t reading from a script and speak from the heart, rather. That is just my two cents though.
I’m kind of in love with him after this. It wasn’t a forced video like I’m here reading a script someone else wrote for me or anything like that it really seemed genuine and honest and I appreciate that. Of course he’s attractive, but his kindness and gentleness really makes me fall for him.
and, to comment on the subject itself: i, too, think it’s cool max did this.
