Fuck, Marry, Block: San Diego Comic-Con 2011!

One of the biggest yearly pop culture gatherings is the San Diego Comic-Con, which took place last weekend. Celebrities from every kind of media gather to sell their upcoming wares to the adoring public. And there are super-heroes galore! Comic fans aren’t the overweight, mom’s basement-dwelling nerds that they’ve been stereotyped to be anymore. Well, some of them are. But there’s also some hot geeks that showed up in costume this year. So let’s “Fuck, Marry, Block” some superheroes! Out of Wolverine, a somewhat under-dressed Green Lantern, and Smallville’s Green Arrow – which would you fuck, which would you marry, and which one gets blocked via your Manhunt profile? Let us know in the comments section!

  1. FUCK: Green Lantern

MARRY: Green Arrow, Just so that I could fuck all I wanted to.
    BLOCK: WOLVERINE

  2. I’d fuck, and possibly marry, Wolverine.  He’s my “type” (after getting rid of the make-up).  Wouldn’t block either of the other two, but they don’t do anything for me.

  3. Fuck Wolverine
    Fuck Green arrow
Block Green lantern (not into twinkies)
Marry ?? (already married thanks 🙂

  4. “Comic fans aren’t the overweight, mom’s basement-dwelling nerds that their stereotyped to be”- I think that should be “they’re”, not “their”.  Lately these guys/gals doing articles have no concept of correctness as far as language is concerned. It’s sad, really.
As for the choices shown- “Wolverine” is the only one that generates
any interest- reminds me of his brief scene in “X-Men: First Class”,
in which he tells Charles and Eric to “fuck off”.

  5. Fuck: Green Lantern
Marry: Wolverine (but he’s gotta lose the claws)
    Block: Green Arrow

  6. sorry – their is correct.  it’s sad, really.  they’re is the equivalent of they are … so would you say dwelling nerds that they are stereotyped to be be?  no.   there refers to a location, their refers to people.  So it was totally correct.

    Block – Wolverine
    Fuck – Green Lantern
    Marry – Green Arrow

  7. Huh???? “Their” is incorrect.  It should be “they’re” or “they are.”  As in:

“Comic fans [are not] the … nerds that THEY ARE stereotyped to be.”

I know some people just don’t have a good grasp on grammar, and that’s fine, but to correct someone’s correction when it was actually, you know, *correct*… that’s unfortunate.

  8. To hell with all 3 of these guys….I would marry and fuck all three of the guys in the very first pic.

  9. Ha ha, I love how everyone agrees that Green Arrow is a marriage material.

    M: Green Arrow
    F: Wolverine
    B: Green Lantern

  10. You are, or you’re correct…lol…same thing…it would not be “your” correct…so sir, yes you are correct…it is they are, or they’re… not the pronoun their…must have a verb in there some where…

  11. Marry – Wolverine (Diehard X-Men fan and let’s not forget Wolverine’s healing factor slows aging — he’ll looking fine for a long time.)
Fuck #1 – The guy on the right in the display post, who I’d guess to be Hawkeye. (If not allowed, please see fuck #2.)
Fuck #2 – Green Arrow (Time to pierce into the piercer.)
Block – Green Lantern (He looked like he was trying to hard to seem cool. Plus I’m pickier about blondes — what can I say? Brunettes get to me.)

  12. Fuck: wolverine (just because of the wolverine)

Marry: green arrow ( he is amazingly hot)

    Block: green lantern (hes…)

  13. Captain America, Green Lantern and Hawkeye from the first pic are better than the three ‘real’ choices that you have given us!

  14. Fuck Wolvie
Marry: Green Lantern, Hawkeye, Captain America, Green Arrow and the lot 🙂
Don’t judge me im a comic whore
