If this buzz is true, then Sheldon is having the greatest summer of his geek life. Not only did Jim Parsons just win the Emmy for Lead Actor in a Situation Comedy, but the National Enquirer is claiming he asked boyfriend Todd Spiewak to marry his nerd ass.
Sources say that Parsons and art director Spiewak will make the trek to Massachusetts in December to legally tie the knot. Keep in mind, Parsons isn’t exactly out to the public. He snuck Todd’s name in without clarification among other people he thanked in his Emmy acceptance. So we’re using “boyfriend” without actual factual documentation. But come on, they’re photographed together constantly, Spiewak was his date to the Emmys, they own a house together, and Parsons deftly plays a more than slightly effete fanboy type on his show.
And check out his acceptance speech. He’s totes gay. We’re thinking you can safely send a congratulations-on-your-engagement-to-another-man card.

Yea I knew he was gay a LONG time ago. He was on Craig Ferguson and he came off as really gay and Craig played into it. He seems like a sweet guy. And his bf is cute. Good for them!

Jim Parsons is a talented comic with amazing timing. His wit keeps me wanting more. And he’s a cute as a newborn pup, too! I don’t know what it is about guys that look like that, but they’re extremely attractive to me & I’m the complete opposite. Actor Peter Paige affects me the same way. I once took an online test about physical (facial) characteristics & found that I’m attracted to guys like Parsons & Page. Now I understand why I was attracted to the ex-bf so much.
Nice to know that Jim Parsons has someone to share his life & successes with. I think that Jim has the chance to become a much larger star in comedy than he already is.

Well Parsons did start out in theater in his hometown. That’s not to say that all male theater actors are gay alot of them are very heterosexual but they can be more open to playing different types of roles, (ie: gay roles)and still go home to there wives and girlfriends….then again, a large proportion of them are gay. Having worked in theater administration I speak from having been on the inside.
i used to think he was so cute until i saw him win at the emmy’s. now he just sorta reminds me a serial killer………not that all gay guy are serial killers, as if that needed to be clarified lol
