So I’m assuming that Bravo is thirsty for some type of controversy and last
night’s premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta delivered that. I’m a huge
fan of the “Real House Wives,” especially the NYC edition because those women
are hard working, strong willed, strong minded women. Watching the premiere of the Atlanta edition, I felt embarrassed, uncomfortable, and sad for those ladies who needed material things to validate
their existence.
A friend of mine who lives in Atlanta called
me up after the show told me those ladies do not represent the Atlanta that she knows and should be called
The Hot Mess Wives of Atlanta. Now this friend of mine is a stylist/socialite in
the handbag one of the ladies on the show paid $5,000 for was actually
borrowed.
