Funny lady Wanda Sykes will be getting her own talk show on Fox called The Sykes Show. The hour long show will be a panel style similar to that of Chelsea Lately.
This has been a long time coming! Sykes has been one of my favorites since her days on Crank Yankers and her recent coming out and advocacy for gay rights makes it all the sweeter.

Not to be snobby, but she’s already had her own show on Fox: Wanda At Large. She also had one on Comedy Central: Wanda Does It.
Kinda came already. Twice. Then went. Fast.
Just sayin’. Love her. Love what she’s about. But past experience says this isn’t gonna be a hit.
Plus…it’s on Fox. People shouldn’t turn to Fox for news or opinions or anything but entertainment…and even that’s pushing it.
Why do all the lesbians get talk shows (Wanda, Ellen, Rachel Maddow, Oprah) and so few gay guys? Are there any hot, gay comedians that we can get a talk show for?
Cool. I love her stuff. Even though she’s played small roles in other movies (like My Super ExGirlfriend and Monster in Law), she feels like a main character. I didn’t know she was out though…
I hope it doesn’t come on the same time as Chelsea- I couldn’t choose who to watch.

I think she’s very funny…I also think her other shows didn’t get the support they deserved from the networks….
