Osbournes’s Variety Show Ratings Win Despite Being Banned

The Osbournes

You might have seen it last night, but if you haven't the Osbourne family's newest variety show on Fox was interesting… Osbournes: Reloaded was #2 in the ratings for the time slot, despite being banned by 16 separate Fox affiliates.

I actually watched the show and found it mildly entertaining at best (and that's being kind), but certainly not worthy of being banned. The most "risque" bit was a guy making out with an old lady and lots of bleeped-out swears in true Osbourne fashion.

While the senseless censorship bothers me, in hindsight I wish I had been in one of the areas where it was banned. At least I'd have those wasted 45 minutes of my life back.

Anyone else watch it? What did you think?

  1. So so at best but like you said not really worth the banning. Theres alot of other shows that should get the boot first

  2. Good post. They know people believe everything they are fed on their Teevee’s so they create this fake buzz trying to revive ratings. It’s like what Jenna Maroney said on 30 Rock, “I can’t even get arrested in this town!”

  3. I actually liked the show. Specially the part when they had the guy and girl get married, i was like NO FRICKIN WAY!!!. But then loved the ending where Ozzy sprayed the people with the foam. Course i would of been pissed if i got all clean n wore my good clothes jus to get them frickin messed up. i wasnt there so LOVED IT!!!
