For the past two weeks, UK hottie Robbie Williams has been dominating the competition, but this time around the Weekly Top Ten has a brand new number one. Lady Gaga has stepped out of second place and taken over with her new single "Bad Romance". Despite my previous skepticism, I'm actually quite happy for her.
While we're talking feelings, I have some news that may put tears in your eyes. This week, we're forced to say goodbye to Robin Thicke, Alicia Keys, Owl City and Adam Lambert. I guess the invasion of the slow(er) jams didn't work out so well? Proving that a faster pace can't even save you, Weezer and Medina didn't even get a chance to compete. Both were voted out in the Wild Card round.
If you're new to the Weekly Top Ten, you should probably know about our initiation process. Every eligible participant must hold the dildo of wisdom between their butt cheeks while I explain the rules. Luckily, the dildo of wisdom is on vacation, so I'll just explain them without its guidance. Each week you'll be presented with ten songs. You get to vote for up to three moving to the next week. From those results, we'll take the five tunes with the highest percentages, a song we saved and four other contributions. These selections will make up the following week's charts.
So how do you get your favorite song on the list? You can try to kiss up by shipping Malachi Marx to your friendly blogger's doorstep, but it might be easier to just leave a comment and suggest your jam for next week. We listen to nearly every song you recommend, and if it's got an appropriate amount of pizazz… you might see it here next week!

- Lady Gaga – Bad Romance (LW – 2): Um, I swear I wrote something here about Lady Gaga. Either way, it doesn't look like it held her back!
- Robbie Williams – Bodies (LW – 1): Is Robbie on his way towards a steady demise? Or is this just a minor setback? Considering that he's fluctuated in and out of the number one spot, there's no way to tell. Just don't get too comfortable up there, Gaga.
- Florence + The Machine – You've Got The Love (LW – 4): At a steady pace, Florence Welch is creeping her way to the top of the list. And why wouldn't she? As one of the most talented vocalists on these charts, this underdog deserves a slice of the glory.
- Shakira – She Wolf (LW – 5): We're surprised that this jam is still holding on. Shakira's fans may not be as ravenous as Britney or Lady Gaga's, but at least they get points for loyalty! How much longer will she last?
- Rihanna – Russian Roulette (LW – 6): Despite this song's slow pace and grim imagery, Rihanna makes an impressive debut at the number five spot. As more remixes pop up, I'm sure this song is going to become a lot more popular.
- Britney Spears – 3 (LW – 3): Where are all the crazy Britney fans? One week she's topping our charts, and a few weeks later she's in danger of extinction. We had to save "3" this week. If she doesn't get into the top five nest week, she's gone forever! To make matters worse, I'm not sure if her video premiere will help or hurt her.
- Leona Lewis – Happy (WILD CARD): How do you take a recycled beat that sounds suspiciously similar to "Halo" or "Already Gone" and turn it into pop gold? Throw power-ballad extraordinaire Leona Lewis on the track. She'll make it all better.
- Timbaland f/ SoShy & Nelly Furtado – Morning After Dark (DEBUT): Consider this one of my guilty pleasures. As far as Timbaland tracks go, this one's completely disposable. But can I deny that it makes me want to shake my ass? Hell to the fucking no.
- Peaches – I Feel Cream (DEBUT): Like I said before, this song makes me ridiculously horny. Even though I've been holding off on including it on the charts, I've decided to get over it and just let you make the decisions. I won't be holding my breath, but a boy can dream.
- Dragonette – Pick Up The Phone (WILD CARD): It's not looking good for Dragonette. After finishing as a runner-up to Leona Lewis in the Wild Card round, they're now facing even stiffer competition. Speaking of stiff, I'm still horny from that damn Peaches track.
