Welcome to our second discussion post for RuPaul’s Drag Race! Since the last one went over so well, we figured we had to give it another try. Yesterday’s episode was inspired by the film Starbooty, in which RuPaul’s supermodel character goes undercover as a prostitute. The girls performed in an electrifying burlesque show, with guest judges Kim Coles and Dita Von Teese sitting on the panel.
We went through the eleven ten remaining contestants and ranked them based on their performance, likability and general level of sass. Who’s on top this week? Who’s creeping around in the bottom? And who met their unfortunate end at the judges’ hands? Click through to find out!

To check out the rankings and watch the show, follow the JUMP:
1. SAHARA DAVENPORT: It’s all about Sahara. After lip-synching for her life last week, she wound up winning both challenges. That’s what I call a comeback. On top of that, Sahara’s male counterpart is smoking hot. I’m not going to lie… I would have so much sex with him.
2. JUJUBE: During the judging session, RuPaul critiqued one of the girls by saying, “I do sassy. I don’t do bitchy.” That was the epitome of Jujube in this episode. She whipped out the claws without getting too malicious, and it was absolutely fabulous to see her personality emerging.
3. MYSTIQUE SUMMERS MADISON: I’m almost positive that Mystique was the cause of Dita Von Teese’s laughter during the burlesque performance. Her splits may be the only trick we’ve seen so far, but I’m sure she has a few more up her sleeves. Plus, she’s fucking hilarious, and it was icing on the cake that she delivered the notorious “not here to make friends” reality TV line.
4. JESSICA WILD: It’s probably wrong that I find Jessica’s struggle with the English language to be charming, right? Well, I can’t help it! Everything she says is just so adorable, and we’ve yet to see a bitchy bone in her body. Her outfits are always fierce, and she works the runway like a pro. Wait, why isn’t she even higher on this list?
5. PANDORA BOXX: Leading a team is never easy, so we have to give Pandora props for doing her best. We would have ranked her higher, but her dress on the runway was just downright oogly. It was definitely a step down from her amazing Kathy Griffin hair.
6. TATIANNA: She may not be here to be pretty, but she could have fooled us! Out of all the girls in this competition, Tatianna’s the one who I’d most likely mistake for a gorgeous woman. Even Dita Von Teese has a bit of a crush! Her “Rihanna going to prom” look may have been fabulous, but she needs to turn up the flamboyant drag factor!
7. MORGAN MCMICHAELS: Did I misjudge Morgan? Last week, I was a little mad that she undeservingly won the fashion challenge. She seemed to tone down the bitchiness in this episode, and she definitely stepped up in regards to her team’s choreography.
8. SONIQUE: RuPaul uttered the following incredible words in response to Sonique’s attitude on the streets–“No one wants a cherry pie that bites back.” I still haven’t made up my mind on this fine lady, but that dash of shade didn’t work in her favor.
9. TYRA SANCHEZ: They fall fast! Even though she was one of my favorites in the beginning, Tyra’s shitty attitude made me want to change the channel. That “nappy pompadour” couldn’t even redeem her. It’s just not cool to openly complain that you weren’t selected by the right team. From the falling asleep to the refusing to rehearse, I couldn’t handle this bitch’s scandal.
10. RAVEN: Speaking of bitches who need to handle their scandals, Raven needs to calm the fuck down. She’s not cute enough to be talking such shit. The things she said about Nicole Paige Brooks? I didn’t think I could like her even less, but she proved me wrong.
GONE… NICOLE PAIGE BROOKS: Alas, if it were up to us, we wouldn’t be saying goodbye to Nicole Paige Brooks. She had one of the best personalities of the group, and this challenge simply didn’t mesh well with her talents. We’re sure this isn’t the last we’ll be seeing of her, right?
Now that Shangela and N.P Brooks are gone i’m official rooting for Jujube shes a sassy little earth kitt and i love it
Jujubee all the way,..but did anyone else see the severe resemblence between Jessica Wild and PAtti Stanger this episode? Im just saying
I’m still loving Pandora Boxx – she reminds me a lot of Lahoma Van Sandt who came out of retirement to costar in Starrbooty, which btw is full of some porn star peen. If you haven’t actually seen Starrbooty and you’re a fan of classic drag queen camp then you need to buy it!
RuPaul’s Drag race is the false manifestation of how SHALLOW the gay subculture is. I’m gonna give my apologies in advance if I am about to offend (or insult) anyone; but don’t they have better things to present on the LOGO TV except SUPERFICIAL shows? I think shows like RuPaul’s drag race real misrepresents and create a false interpretation to the society on how gay men are and act.
Maybe I belong to the 2% of the gay community (whom LogoTv does not care anyway) but I would like to hear honest opinion from anyone on this matter. Any takers?
Again, I’m sorry if I have offended anyone.
IM in love with jessica
@tresqboy,…No all gay men are not and do not act like this,…being gay does not mean you are one thing or another. That is the most important thing I think guys forget we are ALL different, lumping all gay men together is just living by a straight world standard. There ARE gay men out there that do dress in drag and have crazy sayings like “fierce” and “hot tranny mess” and “fabulous” and “work” to ignore the fact that those people REALLY exist and are kind of entertaining (which in most cases what they are trying to be) is ignorance. I’m not a drag queen and Im not some little twink femmy guy either but I do go to clubs and I happen to be VERY entertained by these sorts of people. Do I think they personify me as a gay man? No. Do I think they ARE a part of my world in the gay culture yeah and I just happen to think they’re pretty cool and people who don’t are just missing out on a whole other art form that’s pretty,..well,…..Fierce.
@treqboy – I guess I’m not understanding what it is you’re bothered by. RuPaul’s drag race is a DRAG QUEEN competition, and frankly most drag queens (I, myself work at a showbar as a queen) are in fact represented by one or more of the contestants who have been on the show. Yes, there are definately some girls throwing shade on the show, but it takes a lot of balls to tuck your balls and step into drag infront of a room full of strangers – and because of that, queens learn really fast how to handle the negativity that always finds a way to invade their performance; hence the common drag queen divatude. Beyond the bitching and catfights that I imagine bother you (put 12 queens in a box only 1 will come out alive), RuPaul’s Drag Race does a great service to drag performers by showing the contestants just as much in drag as they are out of drag. People forget that when most queens put on their face they become an entirely different person; they’re in character. I for one, am nothing like my drag personna. When in drag my goal is to entertain, but out of drag I lead an entirely different life. RuPaul’s Drag Race does an excellent job at shedding light one of the gay communities oldest cultures in a way that it has never been done before.
I’m sorry but I’m all for Raven…the male is soooooooooo hot and I agree with everyone else.
I miss the girls from last season. I’m still giving this group some time because I know it takes a while to really realize their personalities, but Bebe, Nina and Onjina are a hard act to follow.
JUJUBE all the way! She’s got the personality and is so much fun!
I like Morgan Mcmichaels
