Parks and Recreation debuted on NBC last night, and the reviews have been rather mixed. Personally, I thought Amy Poehler was fantastic in her role as Leslie Knope. Some people seem to think she's just a female version of Steve Carrell's Michael Scott on The Office, but I feel like her altruistic side contrasts with Michael's selfishness and immaturity. I look forward to seeing how her and the other characters develop over time.
But on to more important matters… did anyone else catch that hottie in a speedo? Let's hope Leslie makes more visits to the pool throughout the season!

i saw the first half of the show, and it was hilarious. can’t wait to see more of it, who knew mid season debuts could actually be good?!
