Here's a story you've heard once or twice. Moral leader rails against gays and loose morals, then they get caught doing something that's so not moral. It usually involves sex (Larry Craig anyone?) but this time it just involves beating your kids… on Father's Day!
Former Hillsborough County, Florida Commissioner Brian Blair was arrested early on Sunday morning for allegedly punching his 17 and 12-year-old sons and choking one of the kids. Since he's a public official, this made the headlines anyways but we're talking about it because Blair is one of those "family values" politicos.
He loudly protested Day of Silence, saying "no group of citizens should be given government sanction and support to promote their social and sexual agenda upon the rest of us and especially, on our children."
Well there, I guess he wasn't so concerned about his children after all. Big surprise.
