Previews for 9 to 5: The Musical began yesterday on Broadway, and it's pretty much everything you would have expected–superb Dolly Parton tunes, awesome sets and choreography and Allison Janney channeling Lily Tomlin like nobody's business.
But for those who like the hairy burly boys, there's an extra treat–Marc Kudisch. The actor plays the ladies' porn-stached, pervy boss Franklin Hart. His performance is full of pelvic thrusts, plenty of innuendo and showing off an impressive bulge as he's dangled above the stage. Spoiler alert: he also appears at some point in the finale, bare-chested in all his beefy, hirsute glory.
He may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I know not all of us are into the porn star or model type. Have any of you Broadway aficionados seen the show yet?
