I'm not sure what an actor like James Franco is doing on a daytime soap opera, but he must have some reason for doing it… maybe he's researching for a real acting job? I kid, some great actors came out of soaps, but they don't usually go back to them.
Check out Franco making his debut on General Hospital as a very mysterious character (around the 6:00 mark). Maybe I'll start TIVO'ing the soap, at least he's some good eye candy.

Franco has the same manager as steve burton (aka Jason) on GH and franco is using this experience for a project and he heard the work was riggorous and challenging.. lol sorry im crazy about GH
