So after this, and this, we have another story from the 2008
Beijing Olympics that paints a deceptive picture.
While the opening ceremonies were beautiful, we are now finding out more and more of it was fake! The fireworks, and now, the little girl who sang "Ode to the Motherland."
Turns out, the cute little girl we all saw was lip-synching, and the real singer (pictured on the left) was hidden from the world.
I guess they didn’t think she was cute enough, and with a reported 15% of the world’s population watching, who can blame them for wanting to put the best look forward? But why not find a girl who was cute AND could sing? Definitely a P.R stumble if nothing else.
