Breaking: Vermont House Approves Veto Override

Vermont, Gay Marriage

With a 100-49 vote, the Vermont House of Representatives has approved a veto override! This technically makes Vermont the fifth state to allow gay marriages preceded by Massachusetts, Connecticut, Iowa and California. Of course, thanks to Proposition 8, Vermont is now only one of four states that will perform same-sex marriages. The fight isn't over yet, but this sure is one exciting victory!

  1. I heard about this from you guys, not the NYT, CNN or other news outlets. It’s really nice that a site like this with a focus on sex and hookups has another side to it, great job on the blog.
