Thousands of fans have spoken, and their pleas for Betty White to host an episode of Saturday Night Live have been answered. When asked by People whether she'll be doing the show, the former Golden Girls actress replied, "Yes. I don't know why or how, but its been wonderful."

Details on her appearance have yet to surface. Previous rumors suggested that she'd be appearing alongside Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Molly Shannon in a "Women of Comedy" episode, but executive producer Lorne Michaels has denied these claims. To be perfectly frank, we don't care when or how she appears on SNL, as long as she drags her old ass to our television screens.

  1. I was a young kid when she married Allan Luden. I was so peeved because I did not think he was good enough for her. Have always loved her. She is adorable and wickedly funny.
