If you have an internet connection, there’s a decent chance you’ve already seen this video of 30 year-old Tyler Marcum dancing with his 20 year-old self to the Dixie Chicks‘ cover of “Landslide”. Rather than reblog this shit and call it a day, I’ve decided to take this opportunity to do a thoroughly researched study on ageism in the gay community. It begins with a simple question—which version of Tyler Marcum would you rather bang?
The older boasts more muscle definition, a tan body and confidence in his topping abilities (please see the words “SUPER PITCHER” on the back of his underwear). The younger possesses a certain fresh-faced innocence, a very nice bum and the twisted idea that you could turn him into a “SUPER CATCHER”. One of them looks like he should be an extra on The A-List: New York. The other looks like he should be appearing in scenes for Broke Straight Boys, pretending that he doesn’t like dicks in his mouth.
They are both adorable and dorky, which might make it impossible to choose… But you must!

The funniest thing about this post is that the 30 year old is FAR hotter (to me) and yet the 20 year old has so much more confidence and is much more graceful. You can tell it’s because Mr. 20 was doing it by memory or on-the-fly, while Mr. 30 is trying to mimic Mr. 20’s moves. Hey, can we post the 30 year old Tyler on the moves of the 20 year old tyler?

Good on him for going there and posting that. I’m sure that most of us have those times where we are singing with a song and dancing along doing some version of interpretive dance…but it’s probably best that we not film it and post it on the interweb.
That being said and since he clearly DID post this, I think the 20 year old version is cuter but I’m totally not into 20 year old guys for sex (they just haven’t marinated enough yet).
