The Lonely Island’s New Single Is (Oddly Enough) A Gay Marriage Anthem

Do you ever get the feeling that some of these actors just live together in one big frathouse and come up with goofy shit to do while taking bong hits? I do. The Lonely Island is former SNL great Andy Samberg’s vanity project (and includes the short and uppity artist guy from Girls, and some other dude). They’ve got a new album coming out, and the first single is “Spring Break Anthem”. It’s totally bipolar, as it starts off as a song for spring breakers to “crush pussy” by, but then segues into a beautiful shout-out to gay marriage. Edward Norton, James Franco, and Zach Galifianakis all marry dudes, and Franco checks off his “How Many Gay Things Can I Do Without Being Gay” box for May.

Oh, and it starts off as an episode of my favorite talk show – “Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis”. Enjoy!
