Here’s the teaser trailer for acting royalty Meryl Streep’s next flick, The Iron Lady. Meryl sucked some false teeth into her mouth, avoided the sun for a year or two, and put on her Brit accent to portray former British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher.
Why are we writing about Meryl Streep? Well, every gay I know thinks she’s rad. She could play Smokey Robinson at this point and they’ll just automatically pass her the Oscar. We celebrate talent here at Manhunt, and not just the cock-sucking kind!
There’s also the fact that someone quotes Miranda Priestly at every party I’ve been to since 2006 . Meryl’s one of our icons!

And you forgot she was AMAZING in Mike Nichols’ version of Angels in America. (Rewatched that again lately and was really stunned by how frickin’ talented she is. I mean, yeah, yeah, I knew it, but when she is given the right material she’s stunning. Whose working on a script for her and Helen Mirren–maybe Olympia Dukakis too.)

the angels in america acceptance speech at the EMMY’s was outrageous. M.S. said – OH NO, SHE’S GOING TO KILL ME FOR THIS. SO IS SO COMPETITIVE SHE HAS TO WIN EVERTHING, HOW AM I GOING TO COPE WITH EMMA THOMPSON! *and her angel had what? 17 clitoris’s? Funniest speech and most deserved EMMY – her and Al Pacino. Fine fine acting. We have been blessed in our time.
I truly believe that this might actually win her her long overdue 3rd Oscar.
