A British official living in Montego Bay, Jamaica was found brutally murdered and only a warning and grim scene were left behind. A note that reads, "'This is what will happen to ALL gays" was found on John Terry's body this past Wednesday.
Timesonline.co.uk reports, "Police would not say whether Mr Terry’s murder was thought to be linked to his work as a Justice of the Peace but they were investigating the possibility that the attack might have been homophobic after a handwritten note on his body described him as a 'batty man', local slang for a homosexual. The note also said: 'This is what will happen to ALL gays.' It was signed: 'Gay-Man'."
That's just a little terrifying… and tragic for Terry's family and friends. Jamaica hasn't been known for it's gay-friendliness, but this is just ridiculous.

I’ve been to Jamiaca, and it really IS NOT gay friendly! Its a very beautiful place, but they don’t like us homos!!! Anyhow, I had a great time with my best girlfriend. The locals just thought we were newly weds!

you don’t go places where you’re not wanted plain and simple, and you certainly don’t flaunt your sexually/culture in other people’s face…

Murder: Jamaica is one of the most murderous countries on the planet.
The reality is that there are few crimes committed against tourists in Jamaica because most of them never venture beyond the tourist compound, ie stay in your gilded lily white jail (the resort) or you will be a victim of crime
I was on New York and had a couple of problems with the people from Jamaica, their culture have always been hateful towards the gay community and the artist that have roots on Jamaica are the same, .. .there is an artist that sings the song of ” a long, long , long time ” had made some songs depicting how to deal with homos and that they should be burn alive !, . .. For this reason I always encourage people to find out first about music and the roots from it before buying something that promotes this types of crimes, . .giving them those resources to make a suggestion like that is immoral and cruel to the society that is trying to find out ways to coexist.
