Vote For The Weekly Top Ten Wild Card

It’s the people’s choice, y’all! Welcome to the Wild Card round of our Weekly Top Ten countdown, in which you vote to fill the tenth remaining slot on our rankings. Today’s edition features four songs recommended by viewers like you, so if you don’t like ’em… leave a comment with a suggestion for next week!

The competitors are none other than Graffiti6, Janelle Monae, Diana Vickers and Katy B. While most of them aren’t necessarily household names, they’re definitely worth giving a listen to! Once you’ve given them all a chance, be sure to get your vote in before it’s too late!

To listen and cast your vote, follow the JUMP:

Graffiti6 – Annie You Saved Me: Are we living under a rock or something? Because we hadn’t ever heard of this band until you recommended them. Honestly, they’re not really doing much for us as far as the music goes, but let’s just put it this way… the lead singer certainly ain’t ugly.

Janelle Monae – Cold War: For the second single from her outstanding ArchAndroid album, Ms. Monae takes things to a slightly darker place. The music video is literally just a close-up of her face. Somehow, she can get away with shit like that.

___________________________________________________________

Diana Vickers – The Boy Who Murdered Love: Second time’s the charm? Well, at least we hope that’s the case for Diana Vickers. This song appeared in the Wild Card round two months ago, but it wound up getting defeated by Alexis Jordan’s “Happiness”. Now it’s back by popular demand!

Katy B – Katy On A Mission: Despite the ridiculously self-referential title (or perhaps because of this), I’m actually digging this jam. It’s one of the few songs in today’s round that actually screams “summer” to me, but these decisions aren’t up to me! If you share my feelings, vote this one to the top!

  1. I’d like to suggest Florence + the Machines for the next Top 10 or wildcard or whatever. Both Drumming Song, and the Dog days Are Done are amaaaazing tunes!
