Sgt. Sass – Demonstrate: Homo-hop that samples Courtney Love? It may sound like something that shouldn't exist, but these boys from Philly prove that it can work. Expand your horizons beyond Lady Gaga and Ke$ha, and show your support for some independent gay artists!

———————————————————————————

Three Six Mafia f/ Tiësto, Sean Kingston & Flo Rida – Feel It: Now this is a collaboration we didn't expect. Academy award winning musicians Three Six Mafia team up with club DJ Tiësto for this song about getting drunk and dancing. Okay, so maybe it's not that surprising.

———————————————————————————

Slipknot – Snuff: Since when did Slipknot become so soft? I remember being scared of the kids who wore Slipknot t-shirts in high school, because I was afraid they were going to bite off a squirrel's head or swallow me with their JNCO jeans. Now these guys are reciting textbook lyrics like, "My heart is just too dark to care." OMG, they're so dark, moody and deep!

———————————————————————————

Hot Chip – I Feel Better: You might as well just fast forward to 2:18 on this one. But if you choose to start from the beginning, you should probably know that Hot Chip isn't actually a boy band. You may also want to be warned that this is one of the weirdest music videos ever created. Points for hilarity given to the band, for appearing in the crowd as fans of the fictional boy band.

  1. David Guetta has always been my favorite DJ, so I was thrilled when he started going more mainstream with Kelly Rowland, et al. Now that Tiesto’s in on this Pop artist-DJ fusion I’m excited to see just how far integrated into Top 40’s we can get these musicians!
