Every now and then we need to forget about the scantily-clad male models and focus on something serious. News broke this weekend of a shooting in Israel at a Tel Aviv-based center for gay and lesbian youth. Three individuals were killed and ten were injured, and this has largely been seen as a hate crime rather than nationalistic terrorism. Hundreds have gathered in support of the community. Our condolences go out to everyone involved and affected by this terrible situation.

i’m disappointed that this story hardly got a blip in the press initially. cnn.com had PHELPS WINS RACE as main story…HOURS into the tel aviv crisis. and my big time philly inquirer newspaper had a lil blurb the next day. bad.
And also the lack of response here! Could it be that our own community doesn’t care about this story either??? I hope not!
I noticed that LoveGame…and I think you are to something. Guys just want to see naked guys here…but not consider the serious stuff too.
I extend my condolences to the people, but that’s all I can really do. I really wish there was more I can do for the families of those killed or injured, but that’s life.
