Sharon Needles’ New Vid Is An Homage To Horror Movies

But isn’t her whole LIFE a homage to horror? If you’ve seen her impression of Michelle Visage, you know that’s the truth. RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Sharon Needles has a new track out (“Call Me On The Ouija Board”) and it features her dragging up several of her favorite horror flicks. Her Damien from The Omen drag KILLED ME. It’s sexy! I think it’s the hat.

You’ll also spot nods to Poltergeist, Children of the Corn (she should have done Malachi as well as Issac because ginge terror is a very neglected form of horror), IT, The Bad Seed, and The Exorcist.

The only thing missing from this vid is Sharon celebrating the recently deceased actress Karen Black‘s most well-known role – the poor lady who had to fight off the Zuni doll in Trilogy of Terror! Actually, Sharon probably would have rather played the Zuni doll.

  1. You know, I’m a big horror fanatic myself and Halloween is a religious holiday. I’ve never met Sharon Needles, nor have I ever seen Rupaul’s Drag Race but this was pretty freaking catchy and I loved the homages paid.

  2. Sharon Needles is very intelligent and witty, probably my favourite person that has been on TV in the last 3 years.
    However this song sucks.
The video is beautiful, but the song is way too generic.
    Big disappointment.
