In a newly unearthed vid taken after the Superbowl, Rosie O is faced with an asshole preacher with a megaphone shouting about how all of us gays are going to be responsible for the earth hurtling into the sun. Dude calls her a “lesbian pig” and tells her to go home and “do the dishes”. When faced with such stupidity, Ro drops some elegant phrasing. Hate aside. Rosie is a pig. She is one of the most reprehensible people on this planet. Haters are always gonna hate. I just fell little sympathy for her.
The sad thing is there is so much hate from many Christians, yet a lot of them get much of the same hate as we get. An actually nice Christian family down the road gets hate during Christmas because the Atheist who lives across from them finds their manger scene offensive. Just like some find me walking down the street hand in hand with another man offensive. I hope one day we can all learn to live together and learn that shit that doesn’t affect you shouldn’t be any of your concern. Like people of the same sex being married won’t affect your life, is the same as someone having a cross or manger scene in their front yard won’t affect you.

Whether or not you agree with Rosie, shouldn’t the young child with them be respected? It wasn’t until the end of the video that I saw a young blond girl was accompanying them. As an adult, the preacher should at least watch his mouth when around youth. They’re always preaching “What about the children” but he seems to think it doesn’t apply to his spewing of hate speech in front of one.
Simply put, bible thumpers are the biggest hypocrites in the world. These very people are those that give all decent Christians bad press. You cannot force your religion on others. You need to lead by example. Bible thumpers tend not to lead by example. They consider themselves above reproach. And when I talk about bible thumpers I am referring to loud preachers. Not the quiet observant type. No wonder they are often called the christian taliban because they are no better than radical muslims.
