To be honest, I thought this was a joke story from The Onion, but it’s true.
Earlier this week, the annual Rock, Paper, Scissors Championships crowned its first ever female winner. The event took place at a brewery in Toronto and drew more than 700 contestants from as far away as Australia, but it was local Monica Martinez who took home the title and $10,000 top prize.
I think it’s no coincidence that such a competition takes place at a giant brewery. You’ll see what I mean.
