Rihanna fixed her hair, and has a new video out for “Cheers (Drink To That).” She’s growing on me. The McDonald’s hair kinda made us all wince, but who doesn’t like a mid-tempo song about drinking to get us excited for quittin’ time? In this clip, you see her perfomin’ and stunting around her home island of Barbados.

I don’t love this song – and I do like her infra-red hair – but Rihanna is really growing on me too. I don’t know how I managed to ignore her so much between “SOS” and now but I’m convinced I really missed out on a lot. I’ve already put together a kinda-greatest hits mix CD and I’m wearing that thing out. I could listen to it everyday. I wake up singing “Rude Boy” and “Don’t Stop the Music” and go to bed singing “Pon de Replay” or “S&M.” It’s great that she releases an album (or a re-loaded 2.0 version of album with multiple bonus tracks) at least once a year ’cause I’m dying to see what she’ll do next!! Although I suspect she’s going to treat Loud like she did Good Girl Gone Bad and ride it out longer than a year.
I like her more than Lady Gaga now.
