A few days ago, the name “Rick Springfield” would only invoke memories of his 1981 hit “Jessie’s Girl”. He’s done some acting since then, as Dr. Noah Drake on General Hospital and Mick Barrett on High Tide, but I’ve never seen any of that shit. To me, this man was associated with but one simple question–“Where can I find a woman like that?”
Thanks to Showtime series Californication, my memories of Rick Springfield won’t ever be the same. The actor and musician starred as himself in a recent episode, and one of the scenes showed him and Evan Handler spit-roasting a stripper. Obviously, he was pretty naked for this.
Can I just point out one thing about this? Mr. Springfield just turned sixty years-old this year, and he’s still looking sexy as fuck. Seriously! I will be an incredibly happy man if I have a body like that around his age.
