Dewitt, I enjoy reading this blog. I also like the pictorials – not all of them might be my taste, but how the hell would any blog be everyone’s taste? I don’t even mind the constant advertising if it isn’t too blatant, and I certainly have no problem with you pushing your sister sites.
But what is it with the Fleshjack lately? There’s nothing sexy or provocative about seeing a plastic device over a guy’s dick. Knowing that you’re pushing fleshjacks just makes it more annoying.
Maybe if you both were more honest about crediting sources? CNN, for example, always mentions that they’re owned by a larger corporation if a story involves said corporation. What’s so bad about mentioning in the post that you’re partnering with Fleshjack or certain porn websites instead of acting like you just happen to be turned on by the latest promo shots?
Personally, I think that’s what bugs me. I love free porn shots – but you make it sound like all the pics are ones you just happened to run across instead of ones that you’re paid to endorse, and it feels very condescending and Republican. Half the time I don’t click on posts because your intros sound too much like badly written commercials. Honesty isn’t a bad thing, sweetie.

thats why i love lady gaga’s advertising – its creative and fun, in fact the product placements form part of the whole story and its interesting to see where shes going to fit it in.
shes probably single handedly saved the music industry since her innovative product placements (they aren’t just ads scrolling across the screen saying, “buy this at a discount please”)and innovative videos mean advertisers pay her per view and so even the illegal downloading doesn’t matter, in fact those people are her best friends, since it gets the word out about the products and its more $$ from the advertisers, since their products are advertised in an unconventional way and people look out for them and try to spot them

now what you should have done with the fleshjack thing was taken the Tyra post you did, photoshopped the fleshjack into one of the pictures in some way, maybe had one of the models holding it, and placed it under a caption this entry.
now you would have started it with the traditional caption this thing, given a slight intro into who the model is and the Tyra Bank’s ANTM thing and then you would said in one line – oh by the way if you want the fleshjack Raina is holding – link to site.
and then the usual, “good luck with captions, we’ll see what you come up with”.
and no doubt you would have had all the competitors clicking on the fleshjack link, in order to see what its all about, since they would have had to link it to the model in some way in order to win the competition.
entries would probably have been whatever the catch phrase of the fleshjack site is matched in some way to ANTM.

I dont click on any of these advertisments, many of the posts appear that way cheap advertisments, written in a manner of – oh wow look what I just found and it turned me on so much I would buy/bone it or him – too much of a turn off.
As for ONTHEHUNT, I will never look at that site again. I just returned from a trip to Dallas and while looking on . What to my eyes a profile with “I just did a video for OnTheHUNT — check out my episode!” profile page made like made by ManHunt with link to OnTheHunt. Loooked and wow he was in a movie there.

On October 5th, the Federal Trade Commission announced new regulations and interpretive guidance effective 1 December 2009 governing “endorsements, testimonials, advertisements, and bloggers” in the USA or subject to US jurisdiction.
In general, the rules require that writers, including bloggers, must disclose to their readers any “material connections” with providers of goods or services that they “endorse”.
As for what constitutes a “material connection” that must be disclosed, free services, gifts, or of course cash are clearly included.
