Now Presenting The 2010 Grammy Nominations

2010 Grammy Nominations, Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Single Ladies, Sasha Fierce, Fearless, Black Eyed Peas, Maxwell, Kanye West, David Guetta, Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, Dave Matthews Band, music

The 2010 GRAMMY nominations have finally arrived, and there's really only one thing you need to know–Beyonce and Taylor Swift are competing for at least four major awards. Prepare yourself for a heaping serving of obvious jokes like these. The "Single Ladies" diva leads the pack with a total of ten nominations. Swift trails just behind her with a total of eight.

Maxwell, The Black Eyed Peas and Kanye West have each been nominated for six awards, while Jay-Z, Lady Gaga and David Guetta each got five. I'm actually excited to see how this all pans out this year! But if Dave Matthews Band wins Album of the Year, I'm seriously going to kick someone in the face. Hell, Beyonce doesn't even deserve that honor…

  1. Beyonce should win all the awards she was nominated for there was NO one better then her this year not Taylor not Gaga or anybody else and if you say otherwise your a LIAR and a HATER!!

  2. …and for all of you who appreciate Latin Pop…Paulina Rubio was nominated…as well as my fave Latin/Alternative group , Aterciopelados…it would be nice to see Pet Shop Boys win for Yes….great album…

  3. Lady GaGa should win everything she’s nominated for. Then Taylor and Beyoncé should win all the rest except for the one that Kelly Clarkson was nominated for.

  4. It’s Beyoncé vs. Lady GaGa for album of the year. Although personally I believe Beyoncé should win. Every one of her albums never disappoints!

  5. I really hope Kelly Rowland wins for her collaboration with David Guetta. ‘When Love Takes Over’ is a brilliant song.
And to the first poster, who are you, Kanye?

  6. Beyonce? Please. I will never understand the popularity of “Single Ladies.” Or just about everything else she’s done. And yes, I’ve listened to every one of her albums, and none of them have been particularly outstanding.
Taylor Swift for the win in everything! Including life.
I don’t like Lady GaGa, but I can’t deny that she deserves a few awards.

  7. same old same old.
    americans still blinded by beyonce.
she is so overrated. and single ladies is the most retarded song that made it to number 1 in recent years.
same old kanye west each year too.
luckily there’s taylor swift this year to stir things up and i hope she wins every award that both her and beyonce are nominated for.
not a fan of taylor, but comparing to beyonce’s latest album she obviously deserves it much more.
beyonce’s latest is certainly better than her disastrous b’day, but still sux big time.
halo was good though. single ladies down the drain.

  8. beyonce was nominated for more grammys than anyone else for a reason. i think the grammy community who decides the nominees knows a bit more than the people on this blog. she has some stiff competition though, but since she already has like a dozen of ’em, she’ll be fine.

  9. Kelly Clarkson got robbed, I would have loved to have seen Already Gone smack down Halo for best pop vocal.

  10. If Taylor Swift wins all those awards, the Grammys will officially lose its credibility. Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Maxwell should win. They all had good albums. They should put Taylor Swift in one category I mean either your country or pop. Thanks Kanye West. Not hating though, but Beyonce and Lady Gaga have been putting in their A game all year.

  12. Taylor Swift all the way…there’s a reason she beat Michael Jackson at the AMAs for Entertainer of the Year…hates it for you haters…
