Must Watch: NBA Players Cry Too

NBA player reject Stephon Marbury caused a bit of a controversy this week by posting a video on Youtube of himself crying. Another player, Brendan Haywood, made it an even bigger controversy by calling him gay for doing so. Who knew one Youtube video could cause so much drama? Well, I guess these people did.

Haywood said of the above video in an interview with a radio station:

“At first it was cool, but after a while it just became disturbing. He’s on YouTube crying with no shirt on for no reason, sweating while his boy’s rubbing his shoulders. What’s that about? That’s like gay porn. I don’t understand it. He’s dancing to a song called ‘Barbie Doll’, doing like stripper moves. I have no idea what’s going on with the guy, it’s almost like he’s trying to end his own career. There’s not a GM out there that would touch Marbury right now… Have you seen the ‘Barbie Doll’ clip? Click on YouTube and go to Barbie Doll. There’s no way any other professional athletes would wanna get dressed around this guy, because you gotta think something is a little, he’s swinging from both sides of the fence.”

Wow, clearly homophic. Not that Marbury's video wasn't a bit on the strange side, but why bring gay people into it. You don't see us crying all over Youtube. Ohwait. Okay, those don't count and Haywood is still a homophobe!

  1. Did you see him dancing the barbie doll or another video eating a vaseline? I bet my money this guy takes dick in his ass, but he just does not know how to come out and tell the world that he is gay.

  2. Its possible that this song is connected to some sad memory for him, which would explain his emotion. The public seriously needs to cut other people some slack before passing judgment.

  3. The song he’s listening too (and the video) made me tear up too, to tell you the truth! It’s “Lean on me” by black gospel artist Kirk Franklin and featuring a load of other singers like Bono, Mary Bilge, etc, in a We-are-the-world type of uplifting singalong. It’s tacky, it’s sentimental, but somehow the video actually works: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTjSCy-R2-M)
Don’t know where “gay” enters into it.

  4. Sure the song had some sort of emotional effect on him, -but to put this video online for the world to see?
Does this video have any purpose? Is it artistic or expressive? -Nope, it just shows very strange behavior from a person who seems to be seeking attention.
Even more disturbing is the fact that this video should even get noticed -and become a news topic. Close to 500.000 views on youtube now. Is this entertainment?

  5. Check out the rest of the online vids he has posted.
He was cut by NY & has no team after a life in basketball. He is obviously depressed & really needs to put down the pipe.
STEP AWAY FROM THE PIPE STEPHON!!
