Just The Tips: Kink For Beginners

Ropes, Hole

I find it surprising how many guys are unwilling to try a little kink. Not all kinky play involves flogging and fisting! It’s as if busting out a blindfold will inevitably lead to getting bruised up and urinated on. That’s just not the case. (Unless you happen to see a can of Crisco in the room.)

I would like to encourage all of you vanilla mo’s to try some entry level naughtiness. I guarantee you it will lead to hotter sex. Though some gents may find these suggestions mild and to be more reminiscent of Playgirl porn than Folsom Street, everyone has to start somewhere. And there’s something to be said for the kink classics.

Have Blindfold. Will Travel.

Blindfolds and ropes are such a tame kink they’ve become a movie sex cliché. Yet people—particularly men who just can’t give up control—still have reservations about being dominated. But being teased and pleased by a trusting partner is just fucking hot. Especially when you can’t see what they are doing to you, which heightens your other senses and leads to more intense feelings (and orgasm(s)).

I say skip the store bought blindfolds. They’re cheesy. I have five old ties that I use for binding and blinding. If I want to be “spontaneous,” I’ll put it on before meeting up with my date, then whip it off to use as an “improvised” rope.

Teasers and Ticklers

God, Allah and Orpah knew what they were doing when they created mankind. You have been equipped with ten excellent tools for providing pleasure (…your fingers, in case you’re not following). But when you want to bring on the super-natural titillation, turn to one (or all) of the following three accoutrement: a peacock feather, a dark silk scarf, and a riding crop (my absolute favorite toy).

Aside from looking sexy, a peacock feather grazed against the skin provides a feel similar to that of light, cool breeze. Try it on highly sensitive areas like the face and neck, inner thighs, forearms, under arms and side torso.

Like the feather, a silk scarf, aside from being a great “improvised” hand cuff, also gives goose bumpy sensations when dragged across the body. The great thing about a scarf is that it covers a larger surface area simultaneously. You can run it down the body and hit up the neck, torso, genitals and legs all with one swift, flowing movement.

If you’re inclined to graduate up to a rougher, more stinging alternative, then you must invest in a riding crop. The folded leather strap at the end provides a soothing feeling when stroked against the skin, but a firm, steady flip of the wrist can deliver a good spank.

I do hope some of you gents decide to spice up your foreplay. If you have any advice, suggestions or experiences you’d like to share, please leave comments! Who knows? You might help someone discover their newest fetish.

  1. The only thing I would advise is to make sure you trust your partner. Getting tied up and blindfolded could lead to some pretty scary situations if the person doesn’t respect your boundaries and limits.

  2. He did say “trusted”…
And yes, I enjoy kink of all kinds…and a lot of the pleasure comes from being tied up…removes ‘catholic guilt’ its not your fault you’re being naughty…LOL!
Blindfolding is really hot too as you don’t know what’s coming next…
If you’ve never been fucked in a sling or never fucked someone else in a sling…you’ve got to try it…having all hands free…is just hot!
When you get the height correct and can pull all the way out and slid back in “no hands”, talk about putting me over the edge…pitching or catching!!!
Another favorite of mine are nipple suckers…you can buy them on line for $10.00 to $15.00 or you can go to the sporting good section of you local discount center and purchase a snake bite kit for around three dollars. Get them wet with spit, (lube will make then crack) squeeze them and put them on your or your buddies nipples and leave them there for 5 – 10 minutes.
The nipples will swell and become, 2-3 times more sensitive! Yum!

  3. I’d love to tie my guy up and blindfold, but I’m not sure what to do AFTER that lol. I don’t want it to be boring, and I don’t want it too crazy… What do you usually do?

  4. I’m telling my bf right now, if he reads this and is tempted to “tease” me with a feather or silk scarf I’m going to punch him. NOTHING can turn me off more than being tickled in bed. Don’t know why, but once I start giggling, my hard on goes away. But we’re pretty kinky otherwise so he shouldn’t get too bored…
