Imagine walking into a McDonald's and being called a "faggot" by one of the employees. How would you react? Well, Ryan Marlatt, Teddy Eggers and 3 other friends were verbally assaulted by an employee at a McDonald's in Louisville, Kentucky. The employee referred to the customers as "faggots" and when Marlatt and Eggers demanded to speak to a manager, the ignorant employee continued to called them anti-gay slurs in front of other customers.
Well, it's been nine months since the incident and McDonald's agreed to a settlement of $2,000 each and will require diversity training for management at 30 of its locations in Louisville. Super-size that, McDonald's! I'm glad they stood up for themselves and I hope the employee got fired like these idiots did.
