The organization we are highliting this week is Resist Meth. The social marketing campaign focuses on reducing the use of meth in the gay community, and helping those plagued by addiction. Their work is funded by the San Francisco Department of Public Health and The New Champions Project. In their own words:
"The goal of the initiative is to reduce the spread of HIV among men who have sex with men in San Francisco and Boston, to reduce meth use among gay/bi men and to decrease the harm caused by crystal to those who use it."
The work Resist Meth is doing is crucial to fighting the abuse of Meth in the gay community, and MANHUNT is proud to partner with them in that fight.
