I like KC but this song is reminiscent of Since You’ve Been Gone….particularly the driving bass line. She’s also looking more soccer-mom and less twenty-something in those apartment scenes. She also needs to keep that weight in check. The sad truth of being a young celebrity is image, and the fierce competition within the saturated youth market.
