If you’re a Biggest Loser viewer, you probably already guessed that trainer Bob Harper was into the D… But, seeing as his sexuality has very little to do with a reality weight-loss show, it never came up. Until this week! A contestant was having issues with coming out to his Dad, and Bob noted that he was gay and gave the guy some heartfelt advice.
Harper revealed that he’s been out since he was 17, but hasn’t felt it necessary to mention it on-air until now.
“I really do believe that this is the right time. I want to show Bobby that he doesn’t have to live in shame.”
Nice work, Bob. That’s why you come out publicly! When it’s helping you with your self-acceptance or when it’s helping someone else with theirs. Your co-trainer could probably mention that she likes the V. Hard-bodied sports lesbians could use a role model. I’m not going to type her name, because the woman is jacked to hell and would smite my face with her fists.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Bob is 48 years old. Get a load of that shit. I can only hope that I look that good when I hit that age (which isn’t that far off–there’s no hope). He needs to keep the facial scruff.
To those in the closet searching for positive role models, it makes a big difference. For being a trainer on Loser then what he does is important. Living authentically, openly and proudly is really the only way to go at least in my mind.
