Haiti Was Cursed By A Pact With The Devil

Pat Robertson, Haiti, pact to the devil, Earthquake, Port-au-Prince, disaster, relief, Red Cross, charitable organizations, ridiculous remarks

Pat Robertson has said some pretty ridiculous shit, but now he's taken crazy to new heights. Check out this video in which he tells the "true story" of the pact Haiti's made with the devil. According to him, it's clearly the reason that a 7.0 magnitude earthquake killed more than 100,000 individuals in the country's capital Port-au-Prince

Before you get too frustrated, how about making yourself feel better with a little goodwill? MSNBC has a full list of charitable organizations that are helping Haiti recover from this catastrophic disaster. Or you can simply text "HAITI" to "90999" and a donation of ten dollars will automatically given to the Red Cross for relief efforts, charged to your cell phone bill. It's times like these that we need to band together and help those in need!

  1. I can’t believe this assclown! Reminds me of one of my all-time favorite bumper stickers … “Dear God, please save me from your followers!”

  2. The saddest part about this is that thousands of people believe everything he says as 100% truth.

  3. @WestAtlBear: The “Dear God, save me from your followers” line is actually a paraphrase of a famous quote by St. Theresa of Avila, a 16th century nun.

  4. So why doesn’t the bitch turn to him and say “WTF! You are one crazy fuckin’ hateful white guy who’s completely full of shit!” Oh, wait – she’s employed by this Fascist Christian propaganda machine.

  5. Did you guys hear what the racist Rush Limbaugh said today? He basically said that Obama responded quickly to this emergency because it involved black people.
We all need to pray that Limbaugh and Robertson suffer a long lingering painful illness soon because it surely will be God’s will. But Limbaugh is already a drug addict so I guess that won’t have much effect on him.

  6. This Has NOTHING 2 DO with GOOD v’s EVIL, God V’s, the Devil, it’s all Natural MAN MADE Cause’s, that r affecting other Part’s of the World thru our IGNORANCE???? If we stop POLLUTION, LOWER GREENHOUSE GASES ETC, it will STOP AFFECTING other PARTS of the WORLD, but if WE DON’T, God FORBID what those COUNTRIES are in FOR, if they just got hit by an EARTHQUAKE, GOD HELP US, CAUSING the PROBLEM’S???? Robert Brown

  7. Guys, I’m sorry to say this, but I expected some religious nutjob to come out and say something outrageous like this sooner or later.
Everytime some tragedy happens these jerks come and say it’s the people’s fault because they sinned.
The same thing happened with the tsunami and hurricane Katrina.

  8. While the pact appears to be more folklore than fact, and even as a Christian I hold Pat Robertson at a very, very long arm’s length, there could be an interesting extension of his thought process. The Louisiana Purchase price was made more favorable by the same Slave Revolution against the French that is supposedly connected to this pact. We all know what happened a few years ago in the territory of the LA Purchase. But the real problem with Robertson’s theology here is that God has witheld His judgement until the final day of judgement granting mercy and grace until then to those who would receive it. God doesn’t cause these things to happen but he does use the outcomes for redemptive purposes. Poor Pat is so hung up on punishment that he has forgotten how to love like God loves.
