Gay Chicken Newest Gayness on YouTube

Has anyone else heard of a new YouTube phenomenon called Gay Chicken. Well it basically takes the classic chicken involving cars, and makes it about two men kissing. The result? Usually hilarity and even a hot kiss here and there.

But the really fun part? Trying to figure out which one actually wants it.

  1. sounds like this isnt American. Pretty lame to me..just guys being tools per usual. whatevs

  2. i have some friends that went to private prep schools and they told me about how they played gay chicken all the time.

  3. Gay chicken aint new. That shits been going on forever. I played it back in the closet in high school and play “straight” chicken with chicks now.

  4. Yeah, I go to a university in Texas, and people do it here… Americans partake in this “phenomenon” too.

  5. “Gay chicken” . . . the really fun part? Hmmmm, I guess as a gay man being mocked by some sort of drunken party game. I don’t think it’s funny, personally as a gay man I take it as an insult. The reaction of some of these guys on the video clips you’ve included . . . they show they find it “sick and revolting”. Nice to know you think that being gay is nothing but a joke.

  6. . . and btw I do have a sense of humor, but this ‘game’ is nothing but another form of homophobia – just broadcast by YouTube this time around.

  7. This isn’t homophobia! Would you want to kiss a girl? Most gay men I know find the thought of kissing a girl as disgusting. Why? Because they are not attracted to them. So why would a man that is not attracted to other men find the idea of kissing one enticing? Yes, it is a game played by drunk college guys usually, but that doesn’t change anything. Now if they beat up the winner or something, that would be homophobis, but as it stands, it just isn’t their thing. If anything, they are curious. Why else would they agree to it?

  8. I don’t think it’s done to mock gay people at all. They get a thrill from it and are considered pussies for NOT kissing another guy. The main reason they pull back is because they become overwhelmed with nervousness and an excitement from it and don’t know how to handle it. Other guys don’t see it as a big deal and are the winners.
To call them homophobes is just silly. It’s just a fad and after it passes will leave everyone saying “what’s the big fuss over men kissing each other anyway?” Experimenting as a game works because they are crossing a line they hadn’t ever considered and get an adrenalin rush from doing something against their nature.
Realize that for people to win at this game, you have to be comfortable enough with your own sexuality to not feel threatened by french kissing another man. You *lose* by being homophobic. It’s training people to get over their homophobia… not promote it. Homophobes would never do anything remotely close to these videos.
(the first video in this post is from my YT account)

  9. They are not homophobes. They are having an intimate moment with one of their buddies that they may not have ever even hugged before and they’re doing it in front of an entire group of friends. That takes balls.
Guys are competitive, Gay Chicken allows them to be competitive about their mild sexual experimentation.
