The Cloud is a project at Mobile MIT Lab Experiment in Florence, Italy. The Cloud is a pseudo organic life form made
of carbon class that perceives humans using hundreds of sensors. It responds with sound and light, using more
than 15,000 individually-controlled optical hairs. That’s 40 miles of fiber optics inside this
13-foot long furry. After seeing the lady in pink put it in action, I have
to admit that there’s something strangely sensual and even erotic about The
Cloud. To me it’s telling a story of the unknown; however, I want him in my living room! Let’s make it rain baby!
