Fun with Hairy Boys

Hairy Boys
Beyond complaining about fake photos on our Edilson Nascimento post, a few of you had some words to say about MANHUNT Daily only featuring "twinks". Geez, tough critics! Do we need to start a bear or cub of the week column to appease you folks?
To start rectifying our wrongs, I encourage you to check out these photos from artist Sean M. Johnson's "Boyhood Play" series. There's nothing fake at all here–just a bunch of hairy boys having fun! Woof, indeed.
Johnson was recently featured in BUTT Magazine for a piece where individuals exchanged a bit of their ass hair for entry into his club. Kind of weird, but we hope that won't stop you from checking out more of his work on his website

  1. T H A N K Y O U !!!!!!!!!
Nice to see some real MEN on here for a change. As an HIV/POZ furry bear, I’m fed up w/ the twinks and buff muscle jocks discriminating towards guys like me. I am a human being with feelings. I have survived w/ hiv for 25 yrs and doing great health wise.
Gay guys use to be nice years ago. What happened? Gays want equal rights and marriage and etc. But they do not treat their own fellow gay men w/ equal rights. Smells of hypocricy.

  2. these sre normal guys, I belive that most of us want to see normal guys on manhunt because the wink thing is old
real men have body hair, real men aren’t a size XXS and no real man has a 27″ waist
so yea lets see some real Joe average guys
with a sprinkling of those skinny shavebots

  3. I think it’s great they’ve finally decided to put up the normal side of guys. True, not everybody’s a super ripped (size XXS? Really? Not everybody’s size XXL either…) twink and not everybody’s into them. And not everybody’s super furry or large either. But when all you see’s a ripped hairless muscular guy it doesn’t do anything to help your self image. I personally don’t care and I’m fine with myself but it causes a huge mentality in other people thinking they have to be a twink as everybody calls it.

whatever happened to the way of polite suggestions? jeez, all this anti-homophobia campaigning is making it seem like all you know how to do is though recklessly lashing out… 😛

  5. if I want to see normal guys, I would go to the club or walk the street or people watch in person…there is a sense of fantasy for the viewer when they see perfect models…like the Rocco art movement in the 1700’s was fantasy art for those who could afford it…if everything has to mimic reality (the average joe, what you see everyday), life would become boring…who wants constant exposure to what they can obtain? I like to look at a variety…I find looking at perfect models refreshing, like modern Davids when figure sculpture isnt being made…I male figure is beautiful.

  6. Tyler, as a black male. I agree. There should be more variety. Not everyone in the gay community is interested in what is largely represented as hot. I feel the way you feel, but some who are not in our position think that it doesn’t matter.
Blake: no one’s saying you can’t have your fantasy. The point is that not everyone shares one fantasy. There is a startling lack of “variety” for people to look at. The point is not to get rid of what already exists, but to be more inclusive of our community’s variety.
