Elton John and partner David Furnish were told they were too old and too gay to adopt a baby boy in the Ukraine as you may recall. The couple has decided to look where every celebrity looking for an easy baby does, Africa!
At least they're not pulling a Madonna and adopting a kid that already has a family. The couple found a child they loved, but decided to not adopt after finding out he had grand-parents and siblings.
Good luck to them, taking an orphaned child and giving them a better life is a wonderful deed! I'm not sure I'd have the patience for a baby at 62-years-old, but I'm sure they'll have lots of help.
