Drawn To You: Michael Baker

Square4

With a swish of his brush, artist Michael Baker depicts the male form so well that you'll be left wildly lusting after the two-dimensional men on his canvases. Baker's paintings are consistently tantalizing, ranging from full-body nudes to more focused close-ups of specific body parts.

While it may be hard to believe that all of his subjects have such perfectly chiseled bodies, we're not going to complain because they're all so fucking gorgeous. I'd consider buying one of these paintings, except I'm afraid I'd wind up cumming all over it!

  1. They’re certainly nicely-executed and pleasant to look at, but haven’t we seen all of this before? Surely gay artists have more to express than the idea that a perfect male body is nice to look at. The only one that really holds my interest is the No Exit one, which seems to be considering the dead-end nature of the gay body-fetish a little.

  2. It’s all hot, yes yes. I’m sure it’s good art by at least some definitions.
I guess I find myself wondering why homoerotic art must always be so maniacally focused on one single perception about male beauty. These perfectly chisled white guys (which all look like each other in the artist’s renderings) have been the subjects of artists since Michelangelo.
Aren’t there other things to say by now?

  3. I totally agree with Bohemond. I have seen this all so many times before. In fact a guy I went to University with did the same sketches in all of his note books…BORING!!! Shame on you Manhunt for even thinking we would be impressed!!!

  4. The drawings R nicely executed but the Male form is equally as beautiful fully clothes. I do however like the NO ONE, NO EXIT .

  5. Nicely executed? I’m no artist, but I could draw that with an etch-a-sketch! No thanks! Boring!

  6. Paintings are suppose to express what the artist is trying to tell us. These say nothing. I might as well open a gay-porn site and see naked men! I think the artist needs to redefine what he wants to tell the world! I also believe that they are not unique. Pictures of naked men like these have been since the 70’s or earlier, even!

  7. This artwork is absolutely gorgeous. I love the serenity of the men in each drawing. I think that it gives such a warmth to each subject. I think anyone would be grateful to own any of these fine works of art!
