Somebody's getting married, and that somebody is Cynthia Nixon. The Sex and the City star announced her engagement to partner Christine Marinoni at the Love, Marriage and Peace Rally in New York City. The two plan on getting hitched as soon as it's legal in New York, so let's hope that process keeps moving along.
Also, did you know that Nixon is an Oscar away from achieving the oh-so-prestigious "grand slam"? She's won a Tony, two Emmy Awards and a Grammy for An Inconvenient Truth. Congrats to her on her engagement and outstanding career!

I was unaware that Ms. Nixon even had such inclinations.
Despite my personal feeling that the press purposely chose the least flattering image of her chosen partner, the woman does remind me (for several reasons at this point) of Ellen Degeneres.
As long as they love each other and treat each other right, more power to them.
What’s up with the negative nancy comment from Marc? I mean really…bitchy queen, much? It’s that sort of snarky attitude (not unique to Marc) that seems to me one of the biggest hindrances to our ever being able to really fight as a unified LGBT front for issues that affect us.
