Bill Clinton Remembers Pedro Zamora

Bill Clinton spoke about the important influence of Real World: San Francisco cast member Pedro Zamora in an introduction to MTV's biopic Pedro. The film, which was penned by Milk's Dustin Lance Black, aired last night on MTV.
The former US president said that Zamora's message is now "as urgent as ever", stating that "HIV is 100% treatable, and more importantly 100% preventable."
I personally haven't had a chance to watch the film yet, but would love to hear others' thoughts on how it was.

  1. I just watched it on Mtv, man I need Kleenex right now. Sadly his story is still so relevant today and his message so necessary , RIP Pedro

  2. I watched the movie last night and it was great. I remember watching him on tv when I was 12 and he made a big impact on my life to this day. I suggest everyone to see this movie, you will not regret it.

  3. I saw “Pedro” yesterday and it really made me cry. I found out I was poz, and like Pedro, I got HIV from an older man because I didn’t know how to advocate for myself and protect my body and health. Although HIV is not nearly as deadly here in the US as it was when Pedro was alive, his message is still incredibly important. I wish he’d been able to talk to me, and hope he’s at peace.
