Given that Toni Braxton hasn't had a top ten hit since "He Wasn't Man Enough", a lot of folks don't realize that she's been putting out music throughout this entire decade. There have been some solid efforts here and there, but nothing ever come close to her most successful single "Unbreak My Heart".
Even though Braxton's latest song "Yesterday" doesn't break that pattern of mere decentness, it's still a nice addition to her repertoire. We had a few requests to add this one to our Weekly Top Ten, so we'll gladly give it a chance this weekend. Speaking of the Weekly Top Ten, there are a few things I probably should have mentioned on Saturday…

the original, Halo soundalike mix was much nicer than this r&b’d up version… this is good too but the other was more leona classic in the ryan tedder vein
It’s a really good song for her. Good to hear the tinges of old Toni again! Hope the rest of the album is more like this. Is she still producing with her husband? I hope not. Her songs tanked with him.
